Summer field action will be carried out in Sakarya, Düzce and Ordu provinces between 28 June and 3 September. The core of the action will be to access the children and activity implementation. Project location will be specified by Balsu, and during visits to accommodation areas of the seasonal migrant agricultural worker families living in these regions, family meetings will be made; working children as well as the ones under the risk of labor will be identified; children will be directed to the workshops; and food packages will be delivered to the families. It is aimed to reach 2500 children throughout the summer action.
Teachers, who work in the region under the Ministry of National Education, will be giving workshops to children within the framework of summer action.
Winter action will be implemented in Mardin province. During the winter action, we will work with school administrations and teachers with the purpose of keeping 500 children from Mardin within the education system and away from child labor, monitor the children’s school attendance, and distribute food packages to families.
